This is the final reminder that in less than 24 hours, Kickstarter surveys (administered through BackerKit) will be closing! Currently, 90% of you have filled out your surveys but there's still around 80 people who needs to do so. If you don't fill in your surveys in time, I cannot guarantee that the items you choose will be available due to limited stock, as I'll be counting how much of each item I need to order!
If you don't see the Backerkit survey email in your inbox, be sure to double check your spam/trash folder. Alternatively, you can type in "backerkit" in your inbox to look for the email.

Some of you were confused about the Dawn and Dusk whale in particular in the survey. As I mentioned in the update where I first released them, I had accidentally swapped the names in the KIckstarter campaign description, however, whatever is listed in BackerKit is correct! Dusk is the darker purple one and Dawn is the orange one that is Kickstarter exclusive!
Also some people have asked me why their available credit is showing up weird when they enter the Add-On store. Please keep in mind this is because there is an unpaid shipping fee balance that is calculated at that step! For example, you overpledged by $14 but your credit only shows $8, this is likely because the $6 difference went to cover your unpaid shipping fees!
Finally REGARDING SIZING! The best way to ensure you choose the right size is to use an existing sweater/long sleeved shirt you have and measuring the width/length/sleeve (starting from back center) and comparing those measurements with the sizing chart. You can see in the diagram above how the measurements were taken on the sweaters. For other references, you can also take a look at the model photos on the main campaign page, which includes their height and weight!

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for your patience, the BackerKit surveys have just been sent out. You will have until Nov 30th to fill out the survey and add additional items, after which I'll close BackerKit to finalize item counts!
Before I get into BackerKit instructions, I just wanted to let everyone know that there has been slight changes made to the Kickstarter exclusive Coral Reef Whale - Rainbow enamel pin design. After conferring with my manu, we have decided that it's best to go with rainbow plated soft enamel WITHOUT epoxy and screenprinting. This is due to the many cutouts of this design that may result in epoxy overflow in those areas.
REMINDER!! If your card was declined, Kickstarter gives you 7 days to fix your payment before your pledge is dropped from the campaign. Please note that I'll not be able to add you back if you're dropped!
Please allow a few hours for BackerKit to send out all the surveys and make sure to check your spam/trash folders if you can't find it! Below, I'll start to go in-depth on how BackerKit works, please please read this carefully! Your survey will be based on the pledge tier you've selected in the Kickstarter. I'll be using the 2 bundle tier as an example. Here, we'll pretend that I've over-pledged (because I wanted additional add-on items).
Once you click "Get Started!" you will be given the option to select the design and sweatshirt size you'd like for each bundle you've pledged for.
REGARDING SIZING! The best way to ensure you choose the right size is to use an existing sweater/long sleeved shirt you have and measuring the width/length/sleeve (starting from back center) and comparing those measurements with the sizing chart. For other references, you can also take a look at the model photos on the main campaign page!
After you've made all your choices, you'll be given a question to confirm that you understand add-ons can be selected in the add-on store. Note that you will not have to select the items you've chosen in the survey again in the add-on store, those have already been added to your cart!
And now you'll be taken to the add-on store. If you've manually added money to your Kickstarter pledge for additional items, this is where you can choose the specific items you would like to receive. The extra money you've pledged will show up as your "Credit Remaining" on the right hand side, in green, and you can now spend it at the store!
The add-on store is where you can also see how much the shipping fees came out to be, also located on the right hand side, and where you'll be charged for the shipping fees of your package!
On the top right corner under "Pledge Level", you will see the items you've selected previously from the survey. If you qualify for additional freebies, they will also appear here so you do not need to add them. They will automatically be added to your rewards! Here, the 2 bundle tier qualifies for a free washi tape and free digital wallpapers.
Below that under "Add-ons" is where the additional items you decide to add will show up!
On the left is where you can select other add-on items. If the total of your add-on items are equal to or less than your Credit, you will not be charged. If you decide you want more items, you can do so and pay via credit card during checkout. This means that you can still take advantage of the Kickstarter discount pricing if you decide you want to add additional items!
For example: you pledged $195 for the $180 2 bundle tier for an additional $15 enamel pin. The 2 bundles you would like to receive will have been chosen through the survey questions. The additional $15 will show up as your Credit and you can now select the pin from the add-on store and add it to your pledge for no additional costs. You will then be charged the shipping cost of the entire package.
Unfortunately, since I'll be fulfilling this project through WhiteSquirrel, a third party fulfillment company, you will not be able to combine items from my regular shop with your Kickstarter package!
For all backers, you will be charged the shipping fees through BackerKit. These fees are calculated based on the overall weight of your package and your shipping destination address.
On the next page, you will be able to fill out your address. You will be able to change your address all the way up until I've received the products in hand and are ready to ship them out. I'll have another update to notify everyone ahead of time before I close address changes!
On the last page, you will be able to input your credit card to pay for shipping and any additional add-on items you may have included that were not covered by your initial pledge. Payment charges are currently scheduled to be made on Dec 3rd, 2020!
After you've submitted your survey, you can always go back and edit your choices as long as you do so before your responses are locked on Nov 30th!
